What are some hard rock or heavy metal bands that are overrated?

KISS comes to mind. They didn't have a single No. 1 hit, but a handful of well known songs. And that's out of 20 studio albums, most of which peaked in the no-mans land of the charts, and 60 released singles, only 2 of which made it into the top 10.
Almost all bands that are successful over many years are not overrated, or they wouldn't be successful. For example many people hate Nickelback and call them overrated, but that's simply not the case, it's just haters hating them. I'm not a big fan, but I can see why they're successful. They make music that the mainstream likes, at least with the singles they release. But they have some seriously good songs on their albums that were never released as singles.
Bands that are overrated would be those that have one good album, or may even just 2 or 3 good songs from that Album, but can't repeat it, and crank out mediocre stuff otherwise that barely anyone cares about, yet live off the success from the one good one.
